Terms and Conditions – atLife Health Collective

Acceptance of Terms

By booking, attending, or participating in services provided by Jane Osborne and atLife Health Collective, or by completing a consent form, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and the associated Informed Consent & Privacy Policy.

These documents are publicly available and form part of your agreement to receive services.

Scope of Services

Services are provided in a naturopathic capacity unless otherwise stated.

Services may include:

  • Face-to-face consultations

  • Telehealth (video) consultations

  • Phone consultations

  • Email communication (administrative and limited clinical support)

Naturopathic care is complementary and does not replace medical care.

Booking and Payment

  • A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking in-person consultation to secure your appointment

  • The remaining balance is payable at the time of consultation

  • Payment methods will be advised at booking

Failure to pay may result in cancellation or refusal of services.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit

  • Failure to attend (no-show) will also result in loss of deposit

Consultation Structure

Consultations involve:

  • Comprehensive health assessment

  • Discussion of health history and presenting concerns

  • Individualised treatment recommendations

Follow-up consultations may include:

  • Review of progress

  • Adjustment of treatment plans

Consultation times are allocated and must be respected.

Communication Between Consultations

Communication may occur via:

  • Email

  • Phone (where appropriate)

Please note:

  • Communication outside of consultations is limited to business hours

  • Email and phone communication are not suitable for urgent or emergency concerns

  • Response times may vary

Clients must seek appropriate medical care for urgent issues.

Medical Responsibility

Clients acknowledge that:

  • Naturopathic care does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment

  • They are responsible for maintaining care with their GP or specialist

  • They will seek medical attention for acute or serious symptoms

Herbal Medicine, Nutritional Supplements and Product Use

Recommendations may include:

  • Herbal medicines (tablets, capsules, liquid extracts, teas)

  • Nutritional supplements and nutraceuticals

  • Dietary and lifestyle interventions

All recommendations are:

  • Individualised based on the client’s presentation and health history

  • Provided within naturopathic scope of practice

  • Intended to support, not replace, medical care

Clients agree to:

  • Follow prescribed dosages and instructions

  • Not alter, exceed or share prescribed products

  • Not continue use beyond recommended timeframes without review

Failure to follow recommendations may impact safety and effectiveness.

Client Responsibility and Safety

Clients agree to:

  • Disclose all relevant health information, including medications, supplements and conditions

  • Report adverse reactions or unexpected symptoms promptly

  • Seek appropriate medical care where required

Failure to disclose relevant information may increase risk and limit safety.

Storage and Handling of Products

Clients are responsible for:

  • Storing products according to instructions (e.g. away from heat, light and moisture)

  • Keeping products out of reach of children

  • Ensuring products are used within expiry dates

Improper storage or use may affect safety and effectiveness.

Product Supply and Third-Party Dispensary Services

Products may be:

  • Dispensed directly

  • Recommended for purchase

  • Prescribed through third-party dispensaries, including Vital.ly and Exergy

These services prepare and supply products in facilities operating under applicable Australian manufacturing standards, including those regulated by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) where relevant.

Once products are dispatched:

  • Responsibility for delivery lies with the supplier and courier

  • atLife Health Collective and Jane Osborne are not responsible for:

    • Breakage or damage during transit

    • Delays or loss after dispatch

Clients are responsible for contacting the supplier directly regarding delivery issues.

Product Use Disclaimer

While care is taken in recommending products:

  • Individual responses vary

  • No guarantee of outcomes is provided

atLife Health Collective is not responsible for:

  • Incorrect use of products

  • Use outside prescribed instructions

  • Adverse outcomes related to undisclosed health conditions

Privacy and Confidentiality

All personal and health information is managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles.

Information is:

  • Stored securely using encrypted, password-protected systems

  • Managed via secure platforms including Google Workspace and Cliniko

  • Protected from unauthorised access
